My wife and I have hired Jay Taylor twice since moving into our fixer upper of a house last year. Our first project with Jay was custom cabinets. Jay came out to check out the space and then gave us different options on how we would like our kitchen setup. He was insightful, thorough, and very patient considering my wife had him change the plans several times. Once we had our final drawings our cabinets were built to custom specifications and installed in the promised delivery date. Of note; after dealing with many different service people while doing our whole house rehab I can say without a doubt that Taylor Made's installation crew were the most polite group of guys we had. They were personable and very respectful of our house which just had brand new hardwood floors installed prior to the cabinets.

Our second project with Jay was a custom wood veneer hood which was installed over our cooktop vent. We hired Jay again because of the great experience we had with our cabinets. This project was more of a challenge thanks to an awkwardly placed support beam that runs the length of our kitchen ceiling. Nonetheless, Jay's design was just what we were looking for. Once again, we were very pleased with the final result. Fabrication was in a timely manner and the install took about 2 hours.

My wife and I would definitely recommend Taylor Made. The work is top notch, priced reasonably, and Jay is quick to address any questions or concerns we had during our projects.

I'm extremely happy with the work/job that Jay Taylor and his staff did. The job entailed the fabrication and installation of two 9inch pantries , wine fridge and island counter top. They are creative, helpful and very professional. I would highly recommend them

Jay's designs are exactly what we are hoping for every time. We typically have an idea to pitch to Jay and then he takes it and blows our minds with the design. As for the installers, they are always clean and thorough and very accommodating. It is a pleasure working with the entire team at Taylor Made.

I have only the highest praise for this company. They were hired to replicate living room cabinetry, shelving and a fireplace surround that had been destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. Utilizing only pictures and rough dimensions, they managed to achieve a remarkable likeness with the highest quality workmanship (perhaps even better than the original) in a timely and cost effective manner. Jay and his personnel could not have been more professional or accommodating. I would not hesitate to use Taylor Made again or to recommend them to anyone who is looking for high quality custom cabinetry.

Jay and his crew made a built in window seat with storage, as well as a cabinet with laundry chute, for my second floor master suite renovation. Both pieces look fantastic and really adhere to the period look I was seeking. Jay worked with me on several design changes and everything was delivered as promised, and on time. I highly recommend Taylor Made for any custom woodworking needs, residential or commercial.

Jay's work is exquisite, his attention to detail impeccable, and the design suggestions he offered were invaluable. He collaborated with my architect and general contractor without hesitation and he helped to make this project a pleasure. Taylor Made designed, constructed and installed a custom entertainment center in our living room. Every step of the process was handled with care and perfection.

We have engaged Taylor Made Custom Cabinetry for two major projects in the last two years. The first was construction of kitchen cabinetry in 2012. We were so pleased with the outcome of that project, in the fall of 2013, we contracted with Taylor Made Custom Cabinetry to construct and install cabinetry for our master bedroom/bathroom suite. The quality of the product is excellent. More importantly, is the professionalism of Jay Taylor and his associates. We have undertaken a number of major renovation projects over the years in our previous home and in a vacation property, based on that experience we can recommend Taylor Made Custom Cabinetry without reservation.

I hired Taylor Made Custom Cabinetry to make the cabinets for my kitchen. I have renovated 6 houses and friends and family consider me to be very picky with high end taste. I have worked with many contractors and GC all of our projects. With that being said, other than Taylor Made there is only two other companies that we worked with that I would give 5 stars to over 6 houses.
From the very start of the project Jay Taylor the owner made it an enjoyable experience. He had a lot of great ideas and was able to offer suggestions to better customize the kitchen to fit our family's needs. For example, I drink a lot of tea so we put in a tea drawer. We also placed a spice rack in the island in "dead" space and added a pull out ladder that blended into the baseboard because my cabinets went to the ceiling. The cabinets were actually completed early and are beautiful. They were perfect in every way. Inset cabinets that didn't rub when you open it, great paint finish that didn't have the shiny builder grade look, and precision craftsmanship on every detail.
All of his staff is very pleasant and customer centric. They just want the customer to be happy. I had heaters placed under cabinets and I wanted the vent covers to blend in with the cabinets. I told them what I wanted, but when it was installed I didn't love the look. It was changed with no problem and now it looks great. I get a million compliments from everyone who sees the kitchen. I have moved recently and have already met with Jay to start designing the next kitchen. I have also seen other cabinetry work that he has done (fireplace surround, bar, bathroom and two other kitchens) and all are as beautiful as the next. You would not go wrong hiring Jay and his very professional and talented crew!

Taylor Made Custom Cabinetry does amazing work. They really know how to take a client's vision and make it a reality. Their attention to detail is what really made me appreciate their work. Small things like, special hinges on the cabinents that make it impossible to slam them, really made me happy :) The employees are respectful and polite. They do not rush through a job and make sure that it is exactly what was discussed and agreed upon. I couldn't have asked for a better kitchen!! I just saw some pictures of wet bars they have put in, so I will definitely be calling TMCC when I decide to finish my basement!
